Top 20 Silverstone United Formula Ford finish for Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald secured a Top 20 finish with B-M Racing in the United Formula Ford Championship Jim Walsh Trophy races at the Silverstone Grand Prix track on Saturday 4th April.

33 cars flooded the starting grid to race the Silverstone National track to race for the Jim Walsh Trophy which came down to a three way dogfight between B-M Racing teammates Jordan Dempsey, Rory Smith and Team Dolan's Ronan Doherty with Westmeath's Jordan Dempsey winning comprehensively.

Micheál Fitzgerald won through several race dogfights and ambush storm crosswinds to build a battling and consistent speed and deliver a Top 20 finish against a pedigree full grid.
The United Formula Ford Championship continues at Oulton Park in May.
