Walter Hayes Trophy Season Finale

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald raced through the Heat Race & Last Chance Race to earn a Semi Final place in The Walter Hayes Trophy at Silverstone racing over 100 car entries from the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada, Norway, Australia, South Africa, USA & more.

KMRs Tom Mills fought a close battle with B-M Racing's Jordan Dempsey but ultimately led Chris Middlehurst & Formula Ford Champion Anthony Amato in very hard fought Grand Final.
Micheál fought several dogfights in a series of heavyweight races where racers battled in a knockout format to reach the next rounds and the semi final. This was Micheál's best Walter Hayes Trophy finish.

Micheál said "I'd like to thank B-M Racing for preparing my race car in 2026 which achieved 18 out of 18 race finishes for a 100% reliability record. The competition and pace was incredible all season"
