Sweet 17 at Silverstone

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald secured P17 in the 2026 United Formula Ford Championship with B-M Racing in the Championship Finale races at Silverstone on 10th October. The championship was won my Anthony Amato & Ammonite Motorsport.

Micheál clocked a pair of P22 finishes and valuable points to achieve a key personal sporting milestone of a Top 20 UK Formula Ford Championship final finish among a 45 car Championship table.

The B-M Racing designed, built & prepared Medina Sport BH23 acheived a 100% race finish & reliability record.

KMR's Tom Mills won Race 1 & Jason Smyth from Cellbridge won Race 2.

The season moves from the championship finish to the Autumn Trophy Races with the Brands Hatch Formula Ford Festival on 23rd & 24th October and the Silverstone Walter Hayes Trophy on 30th October & 1st November.
