Top 15 Oulton Park United Formula Ford

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald secured a Top 15 finish with B-M Racing in the United Formula Ford Championship races at Oulton Park on Saturday 23rd May.

Wayne Poole Racing driver Alex Walker won Race 1 and Brandon McCaughan from Ballymena won Race 2 with Oldfield Motorsport.

Micheál Fitzgerald qualified well on his first visit to Oulton Park and threaded though several crashes to bring home a pair of solid 14th & 17th places securing a Top 15 result against a pedigree full grid.

The United Formula Ford Championship continues across circuits in Great Britain & Northern Ireland throughout 2026.

Micheál said "Oulton Park is a monster fast circuit with sweeping elevation changes punctuated with nippy chicanes. I was very happy to stick to a plan at Oulton Park and progress through the field."
