Mallory Park is a compact but intense 1.35-mile motorsport circuit in Leicestershire built around a scenic central lake. It starts with the ultra-fast, double-apex right-hander of Gerard's Bend with a high speed back straight threading through the Lake Esses then leading to Shaw's Hairpin which requires patient power delivery before plunging through the blind, downhill curve of Devil's Elbow.

Team Dolan driver Ronan Doherty won Race 1 and Smith Engineering driver Ben Smith won Race 2.

Micheál Fitzgerald qualified Q19 in mixed track conditions on his first day ever at Mallory Park and threaded though the field and several crashes to secure Top 12 result against a pedigree competitive grid. Micheál now sits P14 in the United Formula Ford championship table.

The United Formula Ford Championship continues across circuits in Great Britain & Northern Ireland throughout 2026.

Micheál said "P14 in the United Formula Ford Championship is an incredible place for me to be amongst young prodigies and veteran racer combatants."
