Top 20 Silverstone Grand Prix Formula Ford finish for Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald secured a Top 20 finish with B-M Racing in the United Formula Ford Championship Jim Walsh Trophy at the Silverstone Grand Prix track on Sunday 6th April.

Akin to the Grand National running, 36 cars flooded the starting grid to race the Silverstone Grand Prix track lit by an early spring-summer sky blue day. The Jim Walsh Trophy came down to a three way dogfight between Ireland's Jason Smyth & England's Chris Middlehurst & Tom Nippers with Smyth winning by a shade of 0.164 of a second.
