Stormtroopers premiered to an invitation audience in Mitchelstown Cave on 14 April 2018.
Filmed in Cork, Tipperary & Waterford, Stormtroopers is a Fan Film of a platoon of Stormtroopers who raid a remote Rebel mining outpost.
Stormtroopers stars Carolyn Bracken, Peter Cosgrove, Klancy Casey Williams, Micheal Fitzgerald, Michael Stack & Melissa Ciepierski. Stormtroopers is written & directed by Micheal Fitzgerald. It is produced by Cork Racing.
Guests were accompanied by music from Joe Rossa as they took their seats in a cave formed over millions of years in anticipation for this Irish film production.
The audience got the full 4DX undergound cinema experience with several scenes having been filmed in the same cave. The audience got to hear the same cave echos and feel the same drops of water from the prehistoric staligtite cave roof as featured in Stormtroopers.
