Racing to promote filming in Cork

Cork Racing driver Micheál Fitzgerald will race at Silverstone in the United Formula Ford Championship in the UK on April 6th for B-M Racing.

Micheál will be racing to promote East Cork as a region of excellence in film making and tourist attractions. 

Micheál directed the sci-fi short film series Stormtrooper which was filmed in epic locations in East Cork & West Waterford including studio set filming in Killeagh while Micheál has previously appeared in Home & Away, Game of Thrones & Dublin Murders. 

Micheál will be racing with the legendary B-M Racing from Lancashire who he also raced with in 2024 in 53rd annual Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch and the Walter Hayes Trophy in Silverstone which each hosted over 80 entries in a shootout format over a series of competitive heats & finals.
