Stormtroopers was written & directed by Micheal Fitzgerald (Home & Away; Nightflyers; Game of Thrones) and produced by Cork Racing.
Filmed in an 1800 sq. ft. studio in Cork and on location in Cork, Waterford & Tipperary, Stormtroopers - Siege is a sequel to Stormtroopers - The Raid which was released in 2018.
The cast includes Carolyn Bracken (You Are Not My Mother; Dublin Murders, Balor Hall, The Gone), Pius McGrath (Foundation, The Gates), Peter Cosgrave (Pilgrimage), and Klancy Casey Williams. The film is directed by Micheal Fitzgerald (Home & Away; Game of Thrones; Dublin Murders).
Stormtroopers was filmed in spectacular locations, such as hiking 792 meters above sea level to shoot in a dormant volcano in Waterford, and diving 30 meters underwater in Tipperary. The 32-meter Large Antenna Array at the National Space Center in Midleton served as the primary location for the Imperial Base Station.
Additional filming took place at the impressive National Maritime College of Ireland (NMCI) training facility and the magnificent Camden Fort Meagher.
Stormtroopers - Siege is set in the Star Wars universe during the Andor and Rogue One timeline and is a sequel to Stormtroopers - The Raid, released in 2018.
