Cork Racing driver Micheal Fitzgerald scored another Top 20 result racing the Brands Hatch Indy circuit in the penultimate round of the United Formula Ford Championship in England at the weekend amongst a 30 car grid featuring racing prodigees from the UK, Ireland, France, Germany & USA

Ireland's Jason Smyth won both races leading home Micheal's B-M Racing team mate Rory Smith & early championship contender Tom Nippers from Wales.

Micheal fought a multi lap dogfight with Innes Hickman but got the passing move done into Druids on the last lap in Race 1 while torrential rain in Race 2 meant 4 Safety Car intervals with several cars spinning off the track on a greasy wet race track surface.
