Australian Formula Ford team Icon Motorsport tested Cork Racing driver Micheal Fitzgerald at Oran Park, New South Wales last Friday.

Micheal was pleasantly thrilled by his first impressions of Icon Motorsport's Spectrum 06B after testing last Friday, completing over four race distances in testing and he said:

"We managed to get through a lot of laps and the car balance felt pretty good. We are still playing around with set-up and other parameters to understand how to get the most out of the car package."

"I am however quite surprised and happy about what I felt with the behaviour of the car today. It's very promising and I felt more consistency in the car, even under braking, and more stability in the high speed corners."

Newcastle based Icon Motorsport was testing Micheal towards a potential seat in Australian Formula Ford.
