The Cork Racing Team visit Mondello Park next weekend to compete in the opening rounds of the 2007 Irish Formula Ford Championship. Alan Dwyer and Micheal Fitzgerald will return to the cockpits to race drive for the team.

Alan will drive the Van Diemen RF01 while Micheal will drive the Swift 92C and Micheal is preparing for the season by training with Killeagh GAA to build up his fitness. 2006 was a tough year for the Cork Racing Team where reliability cost the team dearly. Cork Racing will face tough competition from the Cliff Dempsey Racing and Motorsport Car Preparation teams while reigning champion Noel Dunne will be tough to beat. Dwyer Engineering will continue to prepare the Cork Racing Team race cars.
