Cork Racing is excited to announce that the Sony Pictures NASCAR comedy, ‘Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby', starring Will Ferrell, will feature on both Cork Racing Team Race Cars at the Leinster Trophy Races at Mondello Park on Sept 9th and 10th. The Cork Racing Team will field a two car line up with Alan Dwyer driving the #2 Van Diemen RF01 while Micheal Fitzgerald will pilot the #22 Swift SC92. The Leinster Trophy Race will feature the Cork Racing Team in an International Formula Ford 1600 field racing for the most coveted prize in Irish circuit racing. The famous ‘Leinster Trophy' has been won in the past by Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen and Eddie Jordan. Also on the bill is EuroBOSS, Europe's only series for modern, ex-Formula One, Formula 3000 and Indycar machinery while A1 Team Ireland will give Irish fans their only 2006 opportunity to see an A1GP car in action on home soil with a demonstration run of the A1 Team Ireland GP car.
