Cork Racing heads North to Kirkistown for Round 5 of the Irish FF Championship |

| The Cork Racing Team travels to Kirkistown in Northern Ireland for Round 5 of the Irish Formula Ford Championship on Saturday 27th May. Kirkistown motor racing circuit in Northern Ireland, opened in 1951, is based on the runways and taxiways of a disused war time airfield and the circuit is 1.6 miles long. Kirkistown is a very fast and flowing circuit with particular challenges including the Chicane and Debtors Bend. The Cork Racing team will test at the circuit on Friday to set the cars up. Alan Dwyer has showed great pace in the Van Diemen RF01 in the previous rounds and will be looking to translate this pace into an overdue deserved result in Kirkistown. Micheal Fitzgerald is also very confident about the race and thinks it will finally kick start his season. |
